text-to-SQL
Turning a question in plain words into a SQL query, usually by a language model given the database's schema.

Learn it properly
Giving an agent a database · Schema as context, a query tool with caps and readable errors, guards in layers, and execution accuracy. About 40 minutes.
Other terms from the same lesson
- execution accuracy: The share of questions where a generated SQL query returns the same rows as a checked reference query, comparing results rather than SQL text.
- query_only: A SQLite setting that makes a connection read-only: every attempt to change the database fails, however the SQL is written.
