Preprint
A research paper shared publicly before (or without) peer review.
Where do you find papers? Nearly all AI papers appear first on arXiv (say "archive"), a free website. Many are preprints. A preprint is posted before peer review, the check where other experts read a paper before a journal or conference accepts it. Hugging Face Papers picks daily highlights and hosts discussion. The big labs also write research blogs. These often explain the same work in easier words than the paper.
