CSS
The language for how web pages look: colors, sizes and layout, applied to elements chosen by selectors.
Try it now
A form is just a way to build a request. Once you can see the name=value pairs, you can send the same request from Python.
Learn it properly
Web pages: HTML and CSS · Read and write HTML, what forms send, CSS selectors and escaping. About 40 minutes.
Other terms from the same lesson
- CSS selector: A pattern that picks elements out of a page, like .price or article h2, used for styling and for scraping.
- HTML: The text format of web pages: content wrapped in tags like <h1> and <a> that say what each part is.
